Enraged Beastmaster
Enraged Beastmaster
Beast mastery 12 + 1 + 3 = 16
Expertise 12 + 3 = 15
Enraged Lounge
Otugh’s Cry
Run as One
Predatory Bond
Feral Aggression
Companionship
Comfort Animal
Charm Animal
Cast all your Pet buffs and spam Enraged Lounge. Every time it hits it will deal 100 damage to casters and 90-100 to warriors. I suggest Radiant Insignias + Runes of Attunement for the energy and you can play with lesser runes if you wish they really make no difference, that I’ve noticed, past shorter durations. Good for Competitive Missions [Update thanks to the ever vigilant Stormlord Alex*rolls eyes*][Aspenwood + Jade Quarry] since you can send your pet to kill NPCs while you spam it's healing.

Why must you allways try to get every little thing, you know what I mean, I gave the names of the missions. Stop finding loop-holes and just give your opinion abou the build. sheesh
BTW I know Protective Spirit would totaly shut me down but do you people ever think of having fun instead of how effective everything is. With this build you deal 100+ damage.

Looks fun, but I'd also recommend at least drop down to only one sup rune (BM best) and a minor in expertise. Personally I'd also recommend removal of companionship, it's completely LOSE especially since you already have teh godly [wiki]Predatory Bond[/wiki]. Add in another attack in that spot, or some defense for yourself...
Edit: lol OR... [wiki]Gaze of Contempt[/wiki] to remove that PS from the equation.

Dual superior runes = major FAIL in any PvP environment
Radiant + Attunement with that = colossal failure
Seriously, WTF do you need all this energy for? You probably have like... 350 health? You do know that when you're dead, you have no energy.

I don't know 'bout you but for me repeteadly spamming skills takes energy.
BTW I've already been told about the Superior Runes and as I posted before they'r not necessary, so next time read carefuly and keep ur big mouth close.

Enraged Lunge costs 2 energy every 5 seconds.
That's the only skill that you're spamming.
And what about the radiant/attunement? You never mentioned those...
More energy =/= energy management. You will run out of energy regardless..
Take a zealous spear if you really need energy.

Thank you Mr. Obvious. Now what is their recharge again? Oh, 20-30.
The only time I ever run out of energy is if I'm trying to keep Great Dwarf Weapon up on my pet. Other than that, applying Feral Aggression, Otyugh's Cry, Enraged Lunge, Run as One, etc. on recharge is not a problem. 13 Expertise is more than enough; you don't need all that Radiant + Attunement drama.

Talking about "Mr.Obvious" did you forget this is meant for Competitive Missions were your pet will be tanking therefore you will need to spamm the 1SEC RECHARGE skill known as Comfort Animal!
BTW Hello Mr. Obvious I'm Sarcasm.*rolls eyes*

Then why is there a lack of Call of Protection? That's probably the best pet tanking skill.. a 90s recharge, 120s duration -21 damage reduction that's unremovable? If your goal is to get your pet to tank, then at least take that... less damage taken = less damage to heal = less energy expended for healing

Normally, I would agree. However, I've actually tried dual sup on a BM in RA and found that, surprisingly perhaps, other teams were rarely able to punish me for doing so. By in large, a ranger with a pet in RA seems to get interpreted as a noob who brought a b/p build into PvP and assigned a very low priority. Moreover, ranger armor plus predatory bond is reasonably effective self-preservation (and OP's build adds companionship and run as one as well) -- better than most RA builds seem to bring.
I wouldn't expect to get away with this in HA or GvG though. But then again, you'd be mad to play a BM in high-end PvP anyway...

Because PvP opponents usually don't target a pet that doesn't count towards their victory condition and can be rezzed over and over at high health.
OP: One change I might suggest: If you can find a way to fit brutal strike into it, you'll find your damage output and spiking ability going up considerably.

Hey look, I can +1 too.
Nevermind.
Run Survivor+Minors. Only use pet buffs on recharge.
If they're hitting your pet, might as well let them and not spam Comfort. They're using their time to hit a pet instead of a real person.

You really don't need 15 in expertise, 13 is the last useful breakpoint for 5E skills and those would be the one you'll use most. I've run EL builds and they really don't use a lot of energy (the only thing that could get taxing on energy is Comfort Animal under heavy fire).

If you're needing to spam Comfort Animal so much why not use [wiki]Call of Protection[/wiki] to help absorb some of the damage the pet takes?

Actually I really enjoy targetting pets in pvp where they actually accumulate DP... and can quickly become well nigh glass cannons. [wiki]Call of Protection[/wiki] truly is imperative if you're actually trying to keep your pet alive and spamming comfort... why? think of it as energy management which will be far superior to a sup expertise.
